MENTOR

As a dedicated member of the Kern County creative community, I believe in the transformative power of art—not only as a personal form of expression, but also as a way to inspire healing, connection, and positive social change. My involvement with the Bakersfield Art Association (BAA) reflects this belief and demonstrates my commitment to strengthening the role of the arts in our local culture. I have previously served as a board member and currently serve as Vice President, while also volunteering to manage the organization’s Facebook and Instagram accounts to help further its mission and reach. BAA is a nonprofit organization operated as an artist-run cooperative, with 100% of its work carried out by volunteers. Through these efforts, I hope to contribute, in some small but meaningful way, to a stronger, more connected, and creatively inspired Kern County.
