As a dedicated member of the Bakersfield creative community, I believe deeply in the transformative power of art—not only as a personal means of expression but also as a way to foster healing, connection, and positive social impact. My involvement with the Bakersfield Art Association (BAA) is a reflection of this belief and my ongoing commitment to supporting the arts as a vital part of our local culture. I currently serve as a board member and will step into the role of Vice President effective July 1, 2025. I also continue to volunteer in various other areas of this nonprofit organization.
I am honored to be a gallery wall sponsor for Art2Heal4Hue, a meaningful program that uses the creative process to promote healing and emotional wellness through art. Supporting this initiative has deepened my appreciation for the power of art to touch lives—especially those facing emotional or health challenges.
Through these efforts, I hope to contribute, in some small but meaningful way, to a stronger, more connected, and creatively inspired Kern County.
