Peaceful Horizon
This 3ft by 4ft peaceful setting inspired a new landscape series I’m calling “Peaceful Horizons”. Many of my paintings reflect the beauty I find close to home and the quiet drives where I soak up nature’s scenery. My hope is that these scenes bring you the same calm they bring me.
Longhorn
This one is 2ft by 3ft on gallery wrapped canvas and has lots of texture. A little history - many years ago I went to Fort Worth with friends and our horses where we competed at the NRCHA non-pro boxing world show. During our stay we visited the stockyards. The longhorns were amazing! Such powerful looking creatures but these beautiful animals were gentle and had a sweet softness to them. Ever since that time I’ve been intrigued. Serenity
Have you ever had the experience of being in the presence of a horse and feeling an intense sense of serenity wash over you, compelling you to lean into them as all else fades into the background? It brings to mind a quote often attributed to Winston Churchill. "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man". I feel this every time I’m with my horses.
