Community Involvement

As a dedicated member of the Bakersfield creative community, I believe in the transformative power of art—not only as a personal form of expression, but also as a way to inspire healing, connection, and positive social change. My involvement with the Bakersfield Art Association (BAA) reflects this belief and underscores my commitment to strengthening the role of the arts in our local culture. I have previously served as a board member and currently hold the position of Vice President, while also volunteering in areas such as managing the organization’s Facebook and Instagram accounts to help further its mission and reach.

I am honored to be a gallery wall sponsor for Art2Heal4Hue, a meaningful program that uses the creative process to promote healing and emotional wellness through art. Supporting this initiative has deepened my appreciation for the power of art to touch lives—especially those facing emotional or health challenges.

Through these efforts, I hope to contribute, in some small but meaningful way, to a stronger, more connected, and creatively inspired Kern County.
